Hello! Welcome to What Lucy Does. My name is Lucy (she/her), I am a storyteller based in the far south of lutruwita/tasmania. I have always been fascinated by stories, whether they be fantastical stories of faeries at the bottom of the garden and witches in the woods, or stories about who “we” are as a family, a school, a community, a country, planet and species. My storytelling basket has carried many tools over the years, presently I’m working with tarot cards, music technology, up-cycled textiles (bedsheets and tip-shop yarn), and words words words. Words are a constant. My words can be found mostly on Patreon, where I share my ponderings on process and practice.
On this website (below) you can book virtual tarot sessions with me. In future, you’ll find my online shopfront here with offerings changing as my practice and processes do, there may be crochet or dresses, digital zines or albums, or something entirely unimaginable to my present self. Book virtual Tarot
Tarot is a staple in my storytelling toolkit.
Through the visual language of archetypal images I have found comfort, reassurance, inspiration, and a deepening connection with myself. Tarot has always been a great gift to share intuitively with friends and family, and i’d be honoured to share it with you virtually. After all, we are only the stories we tell ourselves, and tarot is a story that’s been told and retold through generations.
